Back from my travels

jacquelinebBack, and it all is about to start again. By all I mean I'm back into the swing of work, writing, and now dancing is about to kick off for the year. It's still tricky getting my head around the idea that the 'year', the active year that is of school and work and university begins now, rather than at the start of the actual year. It makes sense with the seasons of course, but still, interesting.
Spain was lovely, and seeing my family was great too. More on that a little later, I think. Right now I'm trying not to let myself get overwhelmed by the emails that I know I need to deal with, the organising of various other travels, seeing people, and also trying to get back on top of the writing. That is going alright. Have made a good start with getting the words up for the dragon novel (see my works in progress page here), it's the everything else that's making me twitchy.
I suspect part of it is not planning and wishing to do everything within the space of two hours - then it tends to get at bit "CLEAN ALL THE THINGS!" but in the sense that nothing happens because I worry about the pile of other things that should be happening...
Yeah ok. Time to stop whinging. The night is young(ish), I've got a few more things to write and some emails to send (and Facebook messages). It'll be fine. My much abused cuticles might not be, but I should be.
